Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and sales initiatives. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and expanding our customer base. The Business Development Manager will lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, working closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Market Analysis:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development goals and objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
Assess competitive landscape and industry developments to position the company effectively.
Business Development and Sales:

Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
Develop customized proposals and presentations for clients, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
Relationship Management:

Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, and influencers.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product) to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in collaboration with senior management and legal teams.
Client Engagement and Account Expansion:

Drive business expansion within existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and reviews to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding service delivery and enhancements.
Market and Product Development:

Provide input to product development and enhancement based on client feedback and market demand.
Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Recommend new product offerings or improvements to meet evolving market demands.
Sales Strategy Execution:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue growth objectives.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasts.
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on business development activities and results.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience:

Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role, with a successful track record in sales and business development.
Experience in the technology, software, or event management industry is preferred.
